Aidan Scott
Co-Founder, Head Tutor
I tutor all levels of secondary and tertiary mathematics including VCE General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, and Specialist Mathematics as well as VCE Physics. I have recently completed my Masters of Actuarial Science at Monash University. I have over five years of tutoring experience with a range of students of different ages and skill levels.

I tutor VCE Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics and VCE Physics. I also tutor all levels of maths and physics from years 7-10. I'm a second year student at The University of Melbourne undertaking a Science-Engineering course. It is a great privilege to help nurture students' interest in maths and physics, and see them reach their full potential.

I have more than three years of tutoring experience. I like to take a practical approach with students and provide guidance on how they can continue improving independently. I'm undertaking a Bachelor of Psychology and Commerce. I was the Head Prefect of Mentone Grammar in 2025 and take pride in being a role model for younger students. I have two years of tutoring experience and enjoy working with a range of students to help them achieve their potential. My goal is to help them feel supported and motivated to flourish in their studies.

I graduated from Mentone Grammar in 2025 and have taken up tutoring to help others through their school journey. I am a fan of AFL and also take an interest in guitar.

Beyond the classroom, I am a classically trained pianist for 10+ years with a passion for cello, guitar and songwriting. I love helping people reach their full potential. My goal is to encourage every student to feel confident in their abilities, increase motivation through personalised support, and foster a love of learning in a supportive environment.

I am currently studying a double degree in Science (majoring in Biomedicine) and Laws (Honours) at the University of Queensland, having recently moved from Melbourne. Currently I'm at King's College and have a strong passion for sport - something made even better by the Queensland weather! As a highly active and motivated person, I’m passionate about helping students succeed. I aim to share not only my academic knowledge, but also the study strategies and mindset that helped me throughout my final years of school. My goal is to support students in achieving their best, regardless of their starting point or target level.

In VCE, I studied English Language, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, General Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics, achieving an ATAR of 95.85. I enjoy helping students build confidence in their abilities and making difficult concepts easier to understand in a supportive and encouraging environment. I enjoy travelling, and in my free time I do yoga and play AFL.

Alongside academics, I have been heavily involved in debating and leadership throughout school, and enjoy working with a range of students!

I graduated high school back in 2022, and have a strong passion for all things biology! While I have ended up studying something in the science field, I also loved English and humanities-related subjects in secondary school. I have tutored since 2023, both secondary and university-level subjects, and absolutely love that feeling when it just "clicks" and students grasp those difficult concepts!

After school, I hope to study a double degree in Law and Psychology at Monash University. I have over two years of tutoring experience, and I love helping students grow their confidence and reach their goals. Being school captain has strengthened my passion for supporting younger students and being a positive role model. I don't just teach the content, but also share the study strategies and organisation skills that have helped me succeed. I received a 50 study score in general maths in 2024, and I am now studying 3/4 Specialist Maths, Maths Methods, Physics, and English Language. I love sport and spend my free time playing, coaching, and refereeing hockey as I believe it’s important to maintain a balance between academics and extracurriculars. I have always enjoyed helping people learn and succeed in areas they may find difficult whether that be in sport or school, and tutoring gives me the opportunity to help other students understand content and overcome academic challenges.
