Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our tutoring services and your purchase of sessions from Easyas Pi Tutoring. By booking a session, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not proceed with the booking.
‘We’ and ‘our’ means Easyas Pi Tutoring (ABN: 68 893 328 319).
‘You’ and ‘your’ means the client purchasing tutoring services (and if the student is under 18 it will always refer to the parent or guardian of that student).
1. Booking and Payment
1.1. All tutoring sessions must be booked online through our website, unless otherwise agreed.
1.2. Once a session is booked, an invoice will be issued to the email address provided at the time of booking.
1.3. Payment of the invoice is required in full prior to the scheduled session time, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.4. Failure to make payment prior to the session may result in the session being cancelled at our discretion.
1.5. By booking a session, you agree to pay the full session fee in accordance with these Terms, regardless of whether you attend the session.
1.6. We accept payment via the methods specified on our invoices.
2. Cancellations and Rescheduling
2.1. You may cancel or reschedule a session up to 24 hours in advance without penalty or rescheduling without penalty.
2.2. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session will only be eligible for a 50 percent refund.
2.3. If you fail to attend a session without prior notice, the session will be forfeited without refund.
2.4. In the event of tutor unavailability, we will offer an alternative time or a full refund.
2.5. Where a cancellation fee applies, an invoice for the applicable amount will be issued and remains payable regardless of whether payment had been made prior to cancellation.
3. Session Conduct and Requirements
3.1. Parents/guardians are responsible for providing an appropriate space for tutoring sessions in an appropriate environment (e.g., a desk or dining room table). Sessions are not to occur in student’s bedrooms.
3.2. For any online sessions, you are responsible for ensuring you have a reliable internet connection and a suitable device.
3.3. Parents or guardians are encouraged to supervise sessions for students under 18 years of age.
3.4. Students and tutors are expected to participate in tutoring sessions with respect and courtesy, avoiding discriminatory language and aggressive behaviour.
3.5. Tutors reserve the right to terminate a session if they feel unsafe.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1. All materials provided during sessions are the intellectual property of Easyas Pi Tutoring and are for personal use only.
4.2. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share any session content without prior written permission.
5. Complaints
5.1. You should contact the owners of the business either Aidan or Natasha using the contact details below to discuss any concerns or to lodge any complaints. Any such discussions will be treated as confidential.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1. Easyas Pi Tutoring is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of, or related to, your use of the services.
6.2. We do not guarantee any specific academic outcomes or results.
7. Privacy
7.1. Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to Terms
8.1. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.
8.2. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to future bookings.
9. Late or Non-Payment
9.1. If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel future sessions until outstanding invoices are paid.
9.2. Continued non-payment may result in the matter being referred for debt recovery.
10. Pricing
10.1. Our current session fees are listed on the Pricing page of our website.
10.2. Fees are subject to change at any time. Any changes to fees will not affect sessions that have already been booked and confirmed.
10.3. The price applicable to your booking will be the price displayed on our website at the time the booking is made.
